► Easy bolt in installation
► Retains sound tube and factory cold air ducting
► Gains of up to 44 HP at peak
► Power increase at all RPM ranges - not just peak power
► Requires a minimum of 91 octane fuel for power gains

Steeda's ProFlow Cold Air Intake on an otherwise stock 2011 5.0L Mustang has achieved a blistering 1/4 mile time of 11.96 at over 115mph! Steeda was the first manufacturer to get into the 11.90 range on a radial tire. Competitors had to use slicks to keep up.

This high performance CAI effectively opens up the intake system of Ford's new five-liter power plant and allows it to breath much more freely than the stock intake system allows - taking your 2011 & Up 5.0L Mustang to the next level of performance.

The 2011 & Up 5.0L Mustang’s intake system from Ford is an excellent piece, one of the best ever to come out of Dearborn. But the engineers at Steeda were up to the challenge of making it even better for the performance customer that demands more power.

To ensure the densest air charge possible Steeda retained the factory cold air feed ducting from the front bumper. Steeda was the first company to do this starting in 2010 with their 2010 GT intake and have carried this innovation over to the 2011 model.

This Cold Air Intake is so effective at improving airflow into the five-liter engine that a performance tune is not just recommended, it is required for maximum performance!

Combined with the required custom tune using an SCT X3 Flash programming device, there has been dramatic power increases of up to 44hp and 52ft/lbs of torque!

Note: requires a minimum of 91 octane fuel for power gains.

You can purchase the intake by itself if you already own a flash programming device and intend to have your own custom tuning done.
If ordering tuner with the CAI kit, please provide us with your PCM Code (This is found under the hood, passenger side, next to the fuse box, on a the silver computer case – it is a 4 digit alpha-numeric code), Transmission Type, Fuel Octane used, and any additional drivetrain modifications you have done to your vehicle.

Easy install such that even this novice with average tools available, can complete the fit-up in 2 hours. Just make sure you have a good range of small hex wrenches available. Also. A little rubber grease or suitable oil will make some of the rubber/plastic fit-ups go a lot smoother.
The tune install was a breeze (just follow the tuner’s instrucrions).
Immediately noticeable was an angrier growl from my Borla quads. The car already just sounds faster even before you’ve moved.
On the go, the first thing you notice is the massive reduction in throttle lag from the automatic. This alone makes the install worthwhile. There is a noticeable power increase though I would say it is incremental rather than life changing. The car certainly does feel faster and the gears are held to higher revs.
Overall, a great value installation. Should have done it years ago.
