Mechanical Engineer / Designer

Applicants for this position should be able to work to design products to meet specifications that will insure survivability and light weight in a performance automotive arena.  FEA, software analysis, and real-world testing procedures should be able to be formulated and implemented to insure safe "mission-critical" products enter the market.  Ideal candidate will have design experience in vehicle suspension and mechanical systems (including drivetrain) as well as the educational and real-world experience to lead a project all the way to completion with minimal input from supervisors.  Road racing and performance automotive product manufacturing experience a plus, but can be substituted with appropriate equivalent experience.  Applicant should be prepared to work with a small team in a hands-on environment to develop competitive products and help bring them to market as quickly as possible to insure a competitive edge for company.  Fabrication skills a definite bonus.  Some travel to limited shows and events may be required.
